Hi there & welcome to Annie's Place. A place inspired by and named after my late Grandmother Annie. Somewhere I can be creative, and share my love for all things handmade. I like nothing better than sitting with hook & yarn, crafting something home spun & completely unique, or rustling up some yummy baked goodies. I live in a town with a beautiful embankment, situated on the River Great Ouse. You may know me as CosyKitty on Ravelry.
Why not stop a while.....?!!
Your photographs are just amazing, I love the riverside photo,s the best. Your hooky project is lovely, I love the colors. Isn't it relaxing to hook outside, I am currently on holiday in Crete and today I was hooking on the beach ( that sounds funny reading it back, but we both know what I mean lol) Thanks for sharing today xx
Oh yes, that is a perfect combination and British summer at its best! Your crochet is looking beautiful in typical 'Sharron' colours, and your pics tell their own wonderful story so well! Thank you of sharing - we have wet and cold windy conditions here this morning but the consolation prize is lots of crafting time while keeping warm! Have a great week m'dear, and I do hope the sun keeps shining for you, xoJoy
Your blanket is looking really lovely. It's great to get time to crochet! I love it when I can get sitting down to do a bit of crocheting. Actually I even crochet when standing up if there isn't a chance to sit!
Loving the colours of your granny squares and is that grey you're joining them with? Can't wait to see it finished. I'm having a bit of a love in with all things granny square at the minute - which is not like me because I never "got" the whole love of them before.
Hi, I just discover your blog and I am enchanted by all of what you do. I love the sweetness in the colours and every patterns you crochet. I will always have a stop here. Miss xx
Yummy. Your colours make me feel happy :) The colours you are using for the granny squares, in particular, are lovely! Crochet greeting from a very sunny London.

Hi there, I have been a follower for a little while now and I absolutely love your colours. Please may I ask what yarn you are using. (I'm not sure if it is 'bad manners' to ask this question as I don't always get an answer). My local yarn shop doesn't do a lot of the 'popular' brands, so I have to buy online. Thanks for your inspiration. Susan x
